COWF Works with IK to Deliver Better Access to Immersive Technologies for Jordan Clinics and Schools
Our Programs

Institutional Partners
We currently work with over twenty five of the top Children’s Hospitals and Research Institutions to distribute immersive technology developed at Stanford University and other leading research partners. We provide support to these partners to train staff and advise them as they introduce and routinize the use of immersive technology in their unique settings. We are also working with these partners to distribute immersive technology that they are researching and developing.

ACCESS Partners
Invincikids will work to identify clinical ACCESS Partners that serve BIPOC and low income populations in urban, rural and international settings. The ACCESS Partners will receive complete immersive technology packages, use and best practice training, technical support, and coaching as needed. ACCESS Partners will be offered opportunities to provide feedback on their experiences with immersive technology, will be asked to provide basic use statistics, and will be offered opportunities to participate in multisite research studies with leading researchers developing new software applications for pediatric settings.

IK Consortium
The IK Consortium will initially be supported by donations to the ACCESS Fund. As the consortium grows it will move to being supported through membership, sponsorship, and event revenue. The IK Consortium will invite inclusion of ACCESS Partners serving under-resourced communities with the hope that including front line healthcare workers an opportunity to represent a wider range of perspectives to the future development of pediatric focused immersive technology. The IK Consortium will also cultivate relationships to increase the number of Institutional Partners, ACCESS Partners, and Content Providers.

Content Providers
We will work with other researchers and institutions to distribute no cost immersive applications developed outside of Invincikids. There are many organizations, including Institutional Partners, that have received research grants to address specific use cases who have developed immersive technology software that does not have a distribution channel. Invincikids will work with these organizations to distribute their software applications for no cost. Invincikids will also be able to provide assistance to organizations that need help to complete software development process to make sure software is ready for deployment, package software with the necessary training and implementation materials to provide for successful adoption.
